The Sounds of Hot Rods and Harleys 2017
This year, as always, Downtown Rahway will be filled with music. As you walk through the Downtown, you’ll be greeted with the sounds of Hot Rods and Harleys from all directions.
At the Train Station Plaza, you’ll hear The Spider Daniels Band, w/Leo Battenhausen sitting in, and the Townsend/Twomey Project. These guys have been playing the train station plaza for over a decade, and they’ve rocked it every year. They preside over the motorcycle show, and keep a watchful eye on the Beer Garden from the stage at the Train Station Plaza. Make sure you check them out!
As you continue down Milton Ave, as you approach Main Street, you’ll hear the music of the Midnight Rock Show – The Ultimate 1970s Rock Tribute Experience, live on stage at the corner of Milton and Main. You’ll remember them from last year’s event, and if this is your first time, you won’t forget them! Find them on Facebook for more information!
Also playing Hot Rods and Harleys this year, down Main Street near Luciano’s, is another fan favorite, Seven Stone. Check them on Facebook: “We cover a diverse selection of material that includes great classic and southern rock tunes from the 60's and 70's, danceable radio hits from the 80's, a handful of 90's rock, and even some soulful funky stuff thrown into the mix.”
You’ll also see DJ Hot Rod Mike – spinning tunes spanning decades – the perfect sounds for a Classic Car show! “Long Live the Happy Days!”
Make sure you mark your calendars for May 13, 2017 – you won’t want to miss this event!
